St James’ Catholic Primary School, Hyde

Works were undertaken to construct a two storey extension to the rear of the existing school in order to provide an extra classroom together with a larger staffroom and toilets.

The works consisted of new foundations, steel frame, masonry cavity walls, a timber flat roof covered with a Bauder roofing system. A Comar Aluminium curtain walling system was installed to the front elevation of the building. All internal finishes and decorations were carried out and external works were also undertaken.

The works were carried out during normal term time whilst the school was fully operational. The works were handed over on time and within our client’s original budget.
